Orb Rallies for Media Freedom

 

Orb’s MyCasting service quickly raised the stakes in an increasingly on-demand world, leading the “media anywhere” trend.  However, the brand’s early success pigeonholed the company in a “TV on mobile” category, forcing the company to once-again disrupt and redefine.  Orb tapped the team to reposition and relaunch the service with a disruptive PR campaign.  The team's guerilla effort creatively rode the wave of other, higher-profile players’ news announcements (Apple, Nintendo, YouTube) with a “Media Freedom” rallying cry. The agency was able to track more than half a million downloads to the more than 535 placements generated in the first six months of the program.
