Get Your Mojo On: Image Metrics Unwraps One-Of-A-Kind App

 

The Mojo Masks app was developed by Image Metrics, pioneers in the field of facial recognition and animation technologies.  The company, a much sought after visual effects partner in the entertainment industry, conceived of the app as a way of showcasing the powerful ease of its proprietary SDKs.  The company quickly realized it had developed a highly engaging and entertaining app and readied it for an App Store launch.

Mojo Masks debuted just in time for Halloween, launching with a broad selection of digital masks and special facial effects.  In just three easy steps, users could add these entertaining effects to videos and photos captured on iOS devices. With no special skills required, users could easily make and share entertaining videos.

The Engaged Group worked closely with Image Metrics throughout all phases of the app's development and launched the app using social media, online and traditional channels.  All activity was designed to create consumer buzz, coverage and ultimately, downloads.  Coverage highlights included:  Wired's Geek Dad, Gizmodo, Appnewser, Appolicious, The Daily App Show and more.  The app also caught the eye of celebrities and notables, including Virgin Group Founder Richard Branson, who included Mojo Masks in a personal blog post.
